WAVO
Child Safety Standards
Wavo has zero tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). These standards explain the conduct Wavo prohibits, how users can report concerns, and how Wavo addresses child safety issues.
These standards apply to Wavo accounts, livestreams, profiles, comments, messages, calls, virtual gifts, and other content or interactions provided through Wavo. They supplement Wavo's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
For child safety reports, use the subject line Child Safety Report.
1. Adult-Only Service
Wavo is intended only for people aged 18 or older. Anyone under 18 is not permitted to create an account or use Wavo. Users must not misrepresent their age or help a minor access the service.
Wavo's adult-only restriction does not reduce its responsibility to address child safety concerns. If Wavo confirms that an account belongs to a person under 18, it will restrict or close that account and handle associated personal information in accordance with its Privacy Policy and applicable law.
2. Prohibited CSAE Conduct
Wavo expressly prohibits Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). Users must not create, upload, broadcast, request, promote, facilitate, or engage in content or conduct that sexually abuses, exploits, or endangers a child. Prohibited conduct includes:
- Grooming a child for sexual exploitation, including building trust to obtain sexual content or arrange sexual contact.
- Soliciting sexual images, videos, conversations, acts, or services involving a child.
- Sexualizing a child or promoting, normalizing, or encouraging the sexual abuse of children.
- Sextortion, threats, blackmail, coercion, or harassment involving a child's actual or alleged intimate content.
- Trafficking a child for sexual purposes, advertising child sexual exploitation, or arranging sexual contact with a child.
- Using accounts, messages, calls, livestreams, gifts, or other Wavo features to facilitate child sexual exploitation or direct users to prohibited material elsewhere.
3. Prohibited CSAM
Wavo prohibits Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM), including visual depictions of a minor engaged in sexually explicit conduct and other material involving child sexual abuse or exploitation that is prohibited by applicable law or these standards. This prohibition covers uploading, livestreaming, sharing, requesting, offering, distributing, or linking to such material.
Manipulated, computer-generated, illustrated, or otherwise synthetic material is also prohibited when it violates applicable law or these standards. Claims that material is fictional, private, consensual, educational, or created using technology do not excuse prohibited content or conduct.
4. In-App Feedback and Reporting
Users can submit child safety concerns through Wavo's in-app reporting mechanism without leaving the app. This channel can be used to report suspected CSAE, CSAM, grooming, an underage account, or other conduct that puts a child at risk.
Provide the relevant account or content identifier, a description of the concern, and the approximate time of the incident where available. Reports about messages, calls, or livestreams should identify the relevant interaction as clearly as possible. Users should not investigate or confront suspected offenders themselves.
Child safety concerns may also be sent to service@wavo.love with the subject line "Child Safety Report." Email is an additional contact channel and does not replace Wavo's in-app reporting mechanism. Blocking another user can help limit contact, but it does not replace submitting a report.
5. Reporting Safely
Do not download, copy, save, forward, or publicly repost suspected CSAM to make a report. Where possible, provide a content or account identifier and a description instead of reproducing the material. Do not send suspected CSAM as an ordinary email attachment.
If a child appears to be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the appropriate local authority. Wavo's reporting and support channels are not emergency services, and users should not wait for a response from Wavo before seeking urgent help.
6. Review and Protective Action
Wavo reviews child safety reports and other information indicating possible CSAE or CSAM, assesses the available context and risk, and escalates concerns for appropriate action. Wavo may seek additional non-harmful information needed to identify the affected account, content, or interaction.
When Wavo obtains actual knowledge of CSAM on its service, it will take appropriate action, including removing the material or disabling access to it, consistent with applicable law. Other protective measures may include ending a livestream, restricting communication or other features, suspending or closing accounts, and taking steps to prevent repeat abuse.
Actions depend on the available information, the nature of the concern, and legal requirements. Wavo does not promise that every report will produce the same outcome or that all reports will be reviewed in real time. A user may request a review of an account action through the reporting or support channels, but a review does not authorize restoring unlawful content.
7. Legal Compliance and Reporting to Authorities
Wavo complies with applicable child safety laws and maintains a process for reporting confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the relevant regional or national authority, as required by applicable law. Other reportable child exploitation concerns are handled in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.
Wavo cooperates with lawful requests from competent authorities and makes disclosures where legally required or otherwise lawfully necessary to protect a child or address an imminent safety risk. These standards do not authorize users to collect, circulate, or investigate illegal material themselves.
8. Privacy and Protection of Reporters
Information submitted in a child safety report is handled in accordance with Wavo's Privacy Policy and applicable law. Wavo limits unnecessary disclosure of identifying information about affected children and people who submit reports in good faith. Disclosure may still be necessary for legal compliance, protective action, or a lawful investigation.
Wavo may limit the information it provides about an investigation or enforcement action to protect children, reporters, and ongoing proceedings. Retaliation against reporters, attempts to identify or expose a child victim, knowingly false reports, and attempts to evade child safety enforcement are prohibited.
9. Child Safety Point of Contact
Wavo's designated child safety contact email: service@wavo.love.
This address is designated to receive child safety concerns and communications from Google Play and other relevant platforms or authorized organizations. Wavo's designated child safety representative is responsible for addressing communications about Wavo's CSAM prevention practices, review and enforcement procedures, and compliance with applicable child safety requirements, and for coordinating action where required.
Use the subject line "Child Safety Report" to identify a child safety concern. Include only information necessary to explain and locate the issue. Do not include passwords, full payment card details, or unnecessary identity documents.
10. Updates to These Standards
Wavo may update these standards to reflect changes to its service, safety practices, legal obligations, or platform requirements. The current version is identified by the "Last Updated" date above. Wavo will provide notice of material changes through appropriate service communications where required.
These standards apply alongside Wavo's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Questions about these standards or child safety reporting can be sent to service@wavo.love.
