This Privacy Policy explains how Wavo collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects personal information in connection with the Wavo mobile application, related websites, customer support channels, and other services that link to this Privacy Policy, collectively, the "Services." Wavo is a live community designed for adults to create and watch livestreams, interact through comments and virtual gifts, exchange messages, and make calls.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. It is intended to give you a practical understanding of our data practices and your choices. This Privacy Policy does not replace any just-in-time notice, permission prompt, regional notice, or feature-specific disclosure that we may present when information is collected. If a feature-specific notice conflicts with this Privacy Policy, the more specific notice will apply to that feature to the extent permitted by law.
This Privacy Policy applies when you create or use a Wavo account, broadcast or watch a livestream, send a comment or virtual gift, exchange a direct message, participate in a call, contact support, submit a report, visit a Wavo page that links to this Privacy Policy, or otherwise interact with the Services.
This Privacy Policy does not govern independent websites, applications, payment platforms, app stores, or services operated by third parties, even when they are linked to or integrated with Wavo. Those third parties process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Your use of Wavo is also subject to our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, virtual item rules, and any supplemental rules presented for a particular feature. Those documents may address matters that are related to privacy, such as acceptable conduct, content licenses, account enforcement, and dispute procedures.
Unless a regional notice identifies a different entity, the Wavo developer or publisher identified on the app store page from which you obtained Wavo is responsible for deciding how and why personal information is processed. In this Privacy Policy, that entity is referred to as "Wavo," "we," "us," or "our."
Some companies process information only on our instructions, such as hosting, content delivery, customer support, security, moderation, analytics, and communications providers. Other companies, including Apple, Google, telecommunications providers, and payment processors, may act as independent controllers for information they collect under their own policies.
Questions, complaints, and privacy rights requests may be sent to service@wavo.love. When required by applicable law, we will provide additional controller, representative, or data protection contact details relevant to your region.
Wavo is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old. You may not create an account or use the Services if you are under 18, even if a parent or guardian would otherwise permit your use.
We may ask for a date of birth, age range, confirmation that you are an adult, or other age-assurance information. Where reasonably necessary and permitted by law, we may use a specialized provider to estimate or verify age. Any identity document or facial or liveness data used for age assurance will be subject to a separate notice when required.
If we reasonably believe that an account belongs to a person under 18, we may restrict access, request age evidence, suspend the account, remove content, and delete associated information, subject to legal preservation obligations. Information about child safety, Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation, and reporting appears in Section 26.
Depending on the sign-up method you choose, we may collect your mobile number, email address, verification code, password or authentication token, date of birth or age confirmation, username, user ID, country or region, language, and account creation time. If you use a third-party login, we receive the identifiers and profile fields that you authorize that provider to share.
You may provide a display name, profile photo, biography, interests, gender or pronouns, general location, language, social links, and other profile details. Some profile fields are optional. Information placed in a public profile can be viewed, copied, recorded, or redistributed by other people.
If Wavo offers creator, identity, payment, fraud-prevention, or age verification, we may collect a verification status and related records. A qualified verification provider may process an identity document, selfie, facial geometry, liveness result, or similar information under a specific notice. We seek consent or rely on another valid legal basis where sensitive or biometric information is involved.
When you contact us or report content or conduct, we collect your contact details, the content of your request, attachments, screenshots, relevant account or content identifiers, and our correspondence with you. We may ask for additional context needed to investigate and respond.
If you voluntarily join a survey, promotion, creator program, or event, we may collect your responses, eligibility information, shipping information, tax information, or other details described in the applicable notice or rules.
We process content you create, upload, broadcast, or share, including live audio and video, replays, clips, photos, captions, comments, bullet-screen messages, reactions, virtual gift activity, titles, descriptions, hashtags, and other User-Generated Content, or "UGC." We also process related metadata, such as creation time, duration, audience settings, engagement counts, content identifiers, and moderation status.
Livestream audio and video must be transmitted through our systems and content delivery providers so viewers can receive it. Streams may be temporarily buffered, transcoded, cached, or sampled to maintain quality, prevent abuse, and comply with law. If replay or recording features are enabled, the content may remain available according to the broadcaster's settings and Wavo's retention rules.
Content shared publicly can be viewed by Wavo users and, depending on the feature, people outside Wavo. Content shared with a selected audience is disclosed to that audience, but recipients may still capture or redistribute it. You should not broadcast or upload personal information that you do not want others to retain.
When content is reported, detected as potentially harmful, or relevant to an appeal, we may preserve a copy, sample, transcript, thumbnail, or related metadata for investigation, enforcement, legal compliance, and safety model improvement. Access is limited to authorized personnel and providers with a need to process the material.
We process the text, images, audio, video, attachments, timestamps, delivery status, and participant identifiers associated with direct messages so we can deliver, synchronize, secure, and support the messaging feature. We may process message content when a participant reports a conversation, when automated safety controls identify a serious risk as permitted by law, or when disclosure is legally required.
To connect a call, we process participant identifiers, network information, connection status, start and end time, duration, quality metrics, and technical logs. Private call audio or video is not ordinarily recorded by Wavo. If a recording, transcription, or safety feature is introduced, we will provide a clear notice and obtain any consent required by law before it is activated.
We collect information about follows, blocks, mutes, likes, comments, shares, invitations, profile visits where disclosed, virtual gifts, message requests, call history, reports, and other interactions. This helps us operate social features, recommend relevant content, reduce unwanted contact, and enforce user choices.
Messages and calls involve other people. Recipients may save, screenshot, screen-record, quote, or disclose communications outside Wavo. Wavo cannot control information that another user copies or shares after receiving it.
Purchases are generally processed by Apple, Google, or another authorized payment provider. Those providers collect payment credentials under their own privacy policies. Wavo normally receives a transaction identifier, product or virtual item purchased, amount, currency, country, time, refund status, and limited billing or fraud signals, but not your complete card number.
We process balances, gift selections, sender and recipient identifiers, livestream or content context, timestamps, and related ledger records to deliver virtual items, calculate creator entitlements where applicable, prevent manipulation, resolve disputes, and comply with financial or tax obligations.
If creator payouts or rewards are available, Wavo or its payment partner may collect legal name, address, bank or wallet details, government identifier, tax forms, identity verification results, and compliance information. The relevant program notice will explain which entity receives and controls that data.
We may use transaction, device, network, account, and behavior information to identify unauthorized payments, gift manipulation, refunds, chargebacks, money laundering, or other misuse. We may restrict transactions or request verification when risk indicators are present.
When you use Wavo, we may automatically collect device model, operating system and version, app version, language, time zone, mobile carrier, network type, IP address, user agent, screen resolution, battery and memory indicators relevant to performance, and similar technical attributes.
We may process account IDs, installation IDs, session IDs, push notification tokens, device identifiers made available by the operating system, advertising identifiers when permitted, and security identifiers used to recognize suspicious activity. We do not attempt to bypass device settings that limit advertising identifiers or tracking.
We collect feature usage, navigation paths, searches, viewing time, stream quality, buffering events, clicks, impressions, crashes, error logs, referral data, and performance metrics. These records help us provide the Services, diagnose failures, measure feature effectiveness, and improve user experience.
We may process failed login attempts, unusual account activity, emulator or automation signals, suspected device compromise, spam patterns, ban-evasion indicators, and other security events. Where legally required, we provide notice or a way to contest decisions based on these signals.
We may infer a coarse location, such as country, region, or city, from an IP address, SIM country, language, time zone, or similar signals. We use approximate location for regional content, language, legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention, and service analytics.
Wavo will access precise or device-based location only if a feature needs it and you grant the relevant operating system permission. A permission prompt or just-in-time notice will explain the purpose. You can withdraw device permission at any time, although location-dependent features may stop working.
If you add a location to a profile, post, livestream, or message, other users may be able to see it. Avoid revealing a home address, real-time travel route, or another person's location without permission.
If you sign in through Apple, Google, or another provider, we receive information permitted by your authorization, such as a provider account ID, email relay address, name, or profile image. You can manage that authorization through the provider.
We may receive information about you when another person follows, mentions, tags, invites, reports, blocks, sends a gift to, or otherwise interacts with your account. Users may also upload content that includes your image, voice, name, or other information.
We may receive fraud signals, moderation results, age or identity verification results, app attribution data, security intelligence, sanctions or legal compliance information, and publicly available information from vendors or lawful public sources.
If you interact with an authorized Wavo campaign or referral partner, we may receive campaign identifiers, referral source, conversion events, or information you asked that partner to provide. We handle this data according to the notice presented for the campaign and applicable consent requirements.
We use personal information only for legitimate and disclosed purposes, including the following:
• Providing account registration, authentication, profiles, livestreaming, viewing, comments, messages, calls, virtual gifts, purchases, creator features, and customer support.
• Delivering and routing content, synchronizing messages, maintaining balances, processing transactions, and remembering settings.
• Personalizing livestream feeds, search results, suggested accounts, notifications, language, and other content based on your choices and activity.
• Measuring performance, debugging, testing, researching, and developing new or improved features.
• Protecting users, detecting spam and fraud, enforcing age restrictions, moderating content, investigating reports, preventing ban evasion, and securing accounts and systems.
• Sending service communications, such as verification codes, security alerts, policy notices, purchase confirmations, moderation decisions, and support responses.
• Sending promotional communications where allowed and honoring your marketing choices.
• Complying with law, responding to valid legal process, protecting rights and safety, maintaining required records, and resolving disputes.
• Creating aggregated or de-identified statistics that are not reasonably capable of being linked back to an individual.
We do not use private message or private call content for interest-based advertising. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer highly personal characteristics for advertising purposes without a valid legal basis and any consent required by law.
Wavo may use follows, watch time, likes, comments, shares, gifts, search activity, language, approximate location, device settings, content topics, and similar signals to rank livestreams, creators, profiles, and notifications that may be relevant to you.
We may infer general interests or content preferences from your activity. These inferences are used to organize the Services, not to determine eligibility for employment, housing, credit, insurance, education, or another similarly significant opportunity.
Depending on the version and region, you may be able to unfollow accounts, hide or mark content as not interesting, clear search or watch history, mute notifications, reset recommendation signals, or choose a less personalized experience. We will honor legally required opt-outs and consent withdrawals.
Automated systems may help rank content, detect abuse, or flag accounts for review. Wavo does not intend to make a decision producing legal or similarly significant effects solely through automated processing. Material safety or account decisions may be reviewed by trained personnel, and appeal options are provided where required.
Where a law such as the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar legislation requires us to identify a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following:
• Contract. Processing is necessary to create your account and provide features you request, including streaming, messaging, calls, gifts, transactions, and support.
• Consent. We rely on consent for optional device permissions, certain marketing, precise location, tracking, sensitive information, or other processing when the law requires consent. You may withdraw consent prospectively.
• Legitimate interests. We process information to secure and improve the Services, personalize ordinary service content, understand usage, prevent fraud, moderate harmful conduct, protect users, and operate our business, after considering the impact on your rights.
• Legal obligation. We process information to comply with tax, accounting, consumer protection, law enforcement, sanctions, child safety, and other legal requirements.
• Vital interests and public interest. In limited circumstances, we may process or disclose information to protect a person's life or physical safety, prevent serious harm, or support an important public interest recognized by law.
The legal basis can vary by data type, purpose, and jurisdiction. You may contact us for more information about the basis applicable to a particular activity.
Camera and microphone access is used when you start a livestream, capture content, send an audio or video message, or join a call. Wavo accesses these resources only after the operating system grants permission and while the relevant feature requires access.
Access to your photo library, media, or files allows you to select content to upload, set a profile image, save permitted content, or attach a file. Where the operating system supports limited selection, you can choose only the items you want to share.
Notification permission allows Wavo to send alerts about livestreams, messages, calls, gifts, account activity, safety, and updates. You can manage notification categories in the App or device settings.
Precise location and cross-app tracking, if used, are subject to separate operating system permissions and applicable consent requirements. Refusing an optional permission will not prevent access to unrelated core functions.
You can change permissions through your device settings. You may also find controls for privacy, discoverability, blocked users, messaging, calls, notifications, and personalization within Wavo. Revoking a permission does not delete information already lawfully processed, but it prevents future access through that permission.
Display names, usernames, profile photos, biographies, follower or following counts, public livestreams, public comments, public gift activity, and other designated public fields may be visible to anyone permitted to access the relevant area of Wavo. Search engines or external websites may index content if Wavo makes it available on the open web.
Public accounts and content may be recommended, featured, shared through links, or displayed in promotional surfaces within Wavo. We use content for external marketing only as allowed by our Terms, your settings, applicable consent requirements, and law.
Where audience controls are available, review them before posting. A limited audience reduces intended visibility but cannot prevent a recipient from making a copy. Deleting content from Wavo cannot remove copies independently stored or reposted by others.
Blocking limits certain future interactions but may not remove information previously shared or prevent a blocked person from seeing public content while logged out or through another account. Reporting sends relevant information to Wavo for review and does not automatically notify the reported user of the reporter's identity, except where law or due process requires disclosure.
As between you and Wavo, you retain ownership of original UGC that you create. To operate the Services, you grant Wavo the limited rights described in the Terms of Service to host, store, reproduce, transmit, adapt for technical formats, display, distribute to your selected audience, moderate, and otherwise process your UGC. This operational license ends or narrows when content is deleted, subject to backup, legal, safety, and prior-sharing exceptions.
You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload or broadcast content, including music, video, images, performances, trademarks, and personal information belonging to others. Do not post content that violates law, another person's privacy or intellectual property rights, or Wavo's Community Guidelines.
Wavo may use automated detection, user reports, hash matching, keyword or behavior signals, and trained reviewers to identify spam, fraud, sexual exploitation, violent threats, copyright infringement, and other prohibited material. We may reduce distribution, apply an age or sensitivity label, remove content, preserve evidence, restrict features, suspend accounts, or report conduct where appropriate.
Users can use in-app reporting tools to report content or accounts. We may share a limited explanation of an enforcement decision and offer an appeal where appropriate. To protect safety and system integrity, we may not disclose confidential detection methods, reporter identities, or information that would enable evasion.
Wavo responds to sufficiently detailed copyright or intellectual property notices as required by applicable law. A notice should identify the protected work, the allegedly infringing material and its location, the complainant's contact details, the basis for the claim, and any required declaration or signature. Notices may be sent to service@wavo.love. We may forward relevant parts of a notice to the affected user.
Wavo and its service providers may use cookies, software development kits, pixels, local storage, device storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember settings, provide security, measure performance, attribute installations, analyze use, and support permitted advertising or campaigns.
Analytics providers may receive app events, device information, IP address, installation identifiers, crash data, and broad location to help us understand reliability and feature usage. We configure providers to limit collection and retention where reasonably available.
If Wavo displays advertising or measures campaigns, advertising and attribution partners may process device identifiers, IP address, impressions, clicks, conversion events, and coarse location, subject to device settings and law. Cross-app tracking or targeted advertising will be presented with any notice, consent, or opt-out required in your region.
You can use device privacy settings, advertising identifier controls, browser settings, consent tools, and Wavo settings to manage applicable technologies. Blocking essential storage may affect login, fraud prevention, preferences, or other core functions.
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy:
• Other users and the public, according to your posting, interaction, and audience choices.
• Hosting, cloud, content delivery, livestream infrastructure, communications, and storage providers that operate the technical Services.
• Moderation, trust and safety, age or identity verification, fraud prevention, cybersecurity, and customer support providers.
• Analytics, crash reporting, attribution, marketing, and advertising partners, subject to applicable permissions and opt-outs.
• App stores, payment processors, payout providers, tax service providers, and financial institutions for purchases, refunds, virtual items, creator programs, and compliance.
• Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, and corporate service providers that need information to advise or protect Wavo.
• Affiliates under common control that follow protections consistent with this Privacy Policy.
• Government bodies, courts, law enforcement, regulators, child safety organizations, emergency responders, and other parties when Section 19 applies.
• A buyer, investor, lender, or successor in connection with a proposed or completed corporate transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.
Service providers are contractually required to process personal information only for authorized purposes, apply appropriate security, and provide protection that is the same as or equivalent to the protection described in this Privacy Policy, as required by applicable platform rules and law. We do not authorize providers to use private communications for their own advertising.
We may preserve, access, or disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with a valid subpoena, court order, warrant, regulatory request, or other legal process. We assess requests for legal sufficiency and scope where permitted.
We may disclose information to investigate or prevent fraud, security incidents, exploitation, credible threats, self-harm emergencies, illegal activity, violations of our terms, or harm to Wavo, users, or others. Disclosures will be limited to what we reasonably believe is relevant and lawful.
If we believe there is an emergency involving a danger of death or serious physical injury, we may provide information to emergency services or law enforcement where permitted by law. We may seek additional information to evaluate the request.
If Wavo is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, personal information may be reviewed or transferred as part of that process. We will require confidentiality during due diligence and provide notice of material changes when required.
Where lawful and appropriate, we may notify an affected user of a government request. We may withhold notice when prohibited, when notice could create a safety risk, or when it would compromise an investigation or the rights of another person.
Wavo serves a global community. Personal information may be processed in countries other than the country where you live, including locations where Wavo, its affiliates, or service providers maintain systems or personnel. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
When required, we use recognized transfer mechanisms and safeguards, such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or Agreement, contractual protections, security assessments, and supplementary technical or organizational measures.
You may contact service@wavo.love to request information about the transfer mechanism relevant to your information. We may redact confidential or commercially sensitive terms from any copy provided.
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, to provide the Services, protect users, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention depends on the nature and sensitivity of the information, the risk of harm, user expectations, technical constraints, and legal requirements.
Account and profile information is generally retained while your account is active. After a valid deletion request, we delete or de-identify associated information through our normal deletion process, except for information that must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, transaction, or safety reasons.
Public UGC is retained until you delete it, it expires under a feature setting, or Wavo removes it. Livestream data may be buffered briefly, retained as a replay when enabled, or preserved when reported. Messages are retained as needed to deliver and synchronize them and may remain visible to another participant after you delete your own account, where allowed by product design and law. Private call audio and video is not ordinarily retained, while call metadata and quality logs may be retained for support, security, and abuse prevention.
Purchase, gift, payout, tax, and accounting records may be retained for periods required by financial and consumer laws. Reports, enforcement history, fraud signals, and evidence of serious abuse may be retained after account deletion when necessary to protect users, prevent repeat violations, respond to appeals, establish legal claims, or comply with child safety and law enforcement obligations.
Deleted information may remain in encrypted backups until those backups are overwritten in the ordinary cycle. We isolate backup data from normal use and restore it only for disaster recovery or security purposes. Aggregated or irreversibly de-identified information may be retained because it no longer reasonably identifies an individual.
Wavo uses administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect personal information. Depending on the information and system, these measures may include encryption in transit, encryption at rest, access controls, authentication, network protections, logging, vulnerability management, employee confidentiality obligations, vendor review, and incident response procedures.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and controlling access to your device. Use a strong, unique password when passwords are supported, enable available security features, and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by an unauthorized party. We regularly evaluate safeguards and adjust them in light of risk and available technology.
If a personal data breach occurs, we will investigate, contain, remediate, document, and provide notice to users or authorities when required by law. Notices may be delivered through the App, email, a public notice, or another appropriate channel.
Depending on your location and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to:
• Know whether we process your personal information and receive information about categories, sources, purposes, and recipients.
• Access or obtain a copy of personal information associated with you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
• Delete personal information or your account.
• Restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing and processing based on legitimate interests.
• Withdraw consent at any time for future processing based on consent.
• Receive certain information in a portable, machine-readable format.
• Opt out of a sale, sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, or qualifying profiling where applicable.
• Limit certain uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information where applicable.
• Appeal a refusal of a privacy request where local law provides an appeal right.
• Complain to a competent data protection, privacy, or consumer protection authority.
You can exercise available controls in your Wavo or device settings. For other requests, email service@wavo.love with the subject line "Privacy Request." Describe the request and identify the account involved. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify identity, authority, and account ownership. We use verification information only for the request and related fraud prevention.
You may use an authorized agent where law permits. We may request proof of authorization and may verify your identity directly. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and will explain any lawful denial. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
If you created a Wavo account, you may initiate deletion through the in-app account settings or submit a deletion request to service@wavo.love. A deletion request permanently closes the account after any disclosed security or cooling-off period; temporary deactivation or suspension is not treated as account deletion.
Subject to legal exceptions, account deletion removes or de-identifies account information and personal information associated with the account from active systems. Public content may be deleted or de-linked according to product functionality. Content already copied, reposted, or independently stored by another user may remain outside Wavo's control.
We may retain transaction records, security logs, abuse reports, content relevant to child safety, evidence needed for legal claims, and information required by law. We may also retain a minimal record of the deletion request or a hashed identifier to prevent fraud, repeat abuse, or accidental account recreation. Retained information is not used for unrelated marketing.
You can withdraw consent through the relevant in-app or device control or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. If information is necessary to provide a requested feature, withdrawing consent may require us to stop that feature or close the account.
Users in these regions may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent, as described in Section 23. You may object to direct marketing at any time. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may object on grounds relating to your situation. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live, work, or believe an infringement occurred.
If Wavo is not established in your region and applicable law requires a local representative, you may contact service@wavo.love to obtain the representative's current details. International transfers are handled as described in Section 20.
Subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, eligible California residents may request to know, access, correct, or delete personal information; opt out of sale or sharing; limit qualifying uses of sensitive personal information; and receive equal service and pricing when exercising rights. The categories collected are described in Sections 4 through 10, sources in Sections 4 and 10, purposes in Sections 11 through 17, recipients in Sections 18 and 19, and retention criteria in Section 21.
Wavo does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We do not use or disclose personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising unless we provide any notice and opt-out required by law. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of people under 18. California requests and authorized-agent requests may be sent to service@wavo.love.
Residents of states with applicable comprehensive privacy laws may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or qualifying profiling, and appeal a denied request. You can submit or appeal a request through service@wavo.love. We will recognize universal opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control, when legally required and technically applicable to the relevant web or app interaction.
Where Brazil's LGPD or another local privacy law applies, you may have rights to confirmation, access, correction, anonymization, blocking, deletion, portability, information about sharing, review of certain automated decisions, and withdrawal of consent. Rights are subject to statutory conditions and exceptions. Contact us using Section 29 so we can route the request appropriately.
Wavo is not directed to children and does not permit anyone under 18 to create an account or use the Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a person under 18 as an authorized user. A parent, guardian, or other person who believes a minor is using Wavo should contact service@wavo.love immediately.
When we confirm that an account belongs to a person under 18, we will restrict or close the account and delete associated personal information, unless retaining particular information is necessary to protect the child or another person, investigate abuse, prevent re-registration, preserve evidence, or comply with law.
Wavo prohibits Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation, or "CSAE," including grooming, sextortion, trafficking, sexualization of a child, solicitation of sexual content involving a child, and any conduct that exploits, abuses, or endangers a child. Wavo also prohibits Child Sexual Abuse Material, or "CSAM," including real, manipulated, computer-generated, or illustrated material that is illegal or prohibited under applicable law and platform standards. These prohibitions apply even though Wavo is an adult-only service.
We may use user reports, trained reviewers, automated classifiers, hash-matching technologies, account and device signals, and specialist safety providers to detect and investigate suspected CSAE or CSAM, subject to applicable law. We may immediately remove content, disable features, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve relevant information, prevent re-registration, and take other protective action.
When Wavo obtains actual knowledge of apparent CSAM or other reportable child exploitation, we will take action consistent with applicable law, including making required reports to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children or the appropriate regional authority. We may preserve and disclose account, device, transaction, communication, location, and content information reasonably related to the report or to an imminent safety risk.
Users can report suspected CSAE, CSAM, grooming, or child endangerment through Wavo's in-app reporting mechanism. Urgent child safety concerns may also be sent to service@wavo.love with the subject line "Child Safety Report." This address serves as Wavo's child safety point of contact for users, platforms, and authorized organizations. If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
To protect children, reporters, investigations, and detection systems, Wavo may limit details provided about a child safety report or enforcement action. Knowingly false reports, retaliation against a reporter, attempts to identify a child victim, or efforts to evade child safety controls are prohibited.
Wavo may link to or integrate with app stores, login providers, payment platforms, telecommunications services, websites, or creator pages operated by others. Their collection and use of information is governed by their own notices. Review those notices before providing information.
An embedded video, web page, social share function, or similar feature may allow a third party to receive device, network, and interaction information. We provide consent controls when required, but Wavo is not responsible for an independent third party's practices.
A link or integration does not mean that Wavo endorses the third party's privacy or security practices. If you believe a third-party feature within Wavo is handling information improperly, contact us so we can investigate the integration.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Services, technology, data practices, legal requirements, or safety needs. The "Last Updated" date at the beginning identifies the current version.
If a change materially affects your rights or how we use personal information, we will provide notice through the App, email, a website notice, or another appropriate channel before the change takes effect when required. We may request renewed consent if the new processing requires consent.
Where reasonably available or legally required, we will retain an accessible copy or summary of prior versions. Continued use after an update means the revised policy applies to future processing, but it does not replace consent where consent is legally required.
For questions, privacy requests, complaints, account deletion, copyright notices, or safety concerns, contact:

For privacy rights requests, use the subject line "Privacy Request." For urgent child safety concerns, use the subject line "Child Safety Report." Please do not send a full identity document, payment card number, or highly sensitive information by ordinary email unless we specifically request it through a secure channel.
We will review and respond within the period required by applicable law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to appeal to Wavo or complain to the privacy, data protection, consumer protection, or other competent authority in your jurisdiction.
